About This Site

[This is an independent website. We are not a member of any churches listed on this site]

If you have spent anytime watching or listening to preachers on TV, radio, or online, you have almost certainly heard many false doctrines. Some say things like:

  • A true Christian does not practice sin
  • If you practice sin, it means you were never really saved to begin with
  • You MUST preserve to the end to be saved
  • You MUST obey the 10 commandments to be saved
  • You MUST tithe (10% of your income) to the church

Other say,

  • Jesus is all about love, once you are saved, God just wants you to live your life as you see fit
  • God just wants you to be happy
  • God wants you to be rich
  • The Old Testament is not relevant today
  • The church has replaced Israel as God’s chosen people

Further, many churches today:

  • Do not teach the Gospel
  • Refuse to teach on difficult topics
  • Ignore Biblical Prophesy
  • Focus on making YOU feel good
  • Have consumed to contemporary social norms
  • Make no attempt to spread the Gospel

For anyone trying to find a sound local church or sound doctrine online, the search is frustrating. It is out of this frustration that this site was developed. The goal of this site is threefold:

  • Help individuals find a sound bible based church
  • Help individuals find sermons and resources online based on sound biblical doctrine
  • Provide introductory information grace, sound doctrine, and the gospel

How to use this site

If you are exploring Christianity and not yet a believer, start by reading What is Grace? and Yes, Even YOU can be SAVED!!! Then you can move on to What is Sound Doctrine? and Online Resources pages

The heart of the site is the Find a Church and Online Resources page. Here is a curated directory of churches and online ministries that have sound doctrine. Go to the Criteria page to see the requirements for resource inclusion on the site. In the directory itself you can filter by state, or by a list of media types. For example, if you primarily listen to sermons via Apple Podcasts, you can filter for only churches that offer podcasts on Apple. You can do the same for Youtube, Sermon Audio, etc. Each church includes a sample Youtube video (if Church has a Youtube site) as well as a link to the church website.

Very Important!

While the site endeavors to only provide links to churches with sound doctrine, we cannot guarantee that everything you hear on these churches’ media is sound doctrine:

  • Church inclusion is primarily based on each church’s statement of beliefs. While we listen to several sermons from each church, there is no way for us to listen to every church sermon to ensure that everything said is sound doctrine.
  • Everyone makes mistakes. Even the best pastor, at some point is going to make a mistake and say something that is incorrect.

Whether you are reading a Christian book, listening to a preacher, or reading text on this site; you should always verify the information with what the Bible says.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11, KJV)
